Bees were taken out of the side of the house, at window sill level. Medium sized colony was taken with brood for 3 bars, honey for 3 bars.  2 pots of honey went to the property owner. Remainder of honey went to Megan.  Empty comb went to Bruce and Megan.

Original cut-out on 8/6/20 members working Phil, Robert Charlie, Bruce, and Clarence. RFP provided a scissor lift

Bees were re-homed with Maria

On 8/11/20 another call came in from RFP that there is a swarm in the same place.  This time Robert, Bruce and Beau went to collect the bees. Bruce used his really tall ladder.  The bees were deemed “straggelers” from the original hive.  Collected and brought to Maria.  We hope RP will now close up the hole in the side of the building and discourage anymore bees to come “hang out” here.  Pictures are from the 8/11/20 rescue.

This cut-out was completed in two seperate work schedules.  3 hives. Two of the hives were removed on 7/25/20 and the last hive removed on 8/1/20

Cal Henry Road in Garden Valley area

 

This cut-out was special as it had 3 individual hives in the same barn.  Ground level, half way up a wall, and up in the loft. 14 people showed up to help.  Adrian, Charlie, Dave, Phil, Robert and his wife, Rusty and his wife, Tammy, and Tim.  Thank you all!

Bee colonies were rehomed to Dave, Tammy, and Tim
