Clove – anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, anti-parasitic, a strong antiseptic, anti-viral, and an immune stimulant. It may influence healing and help create a feeling of protection and courage.
Lemon – promotes health, healing, physical energy, and purification. Its fragrance is invigorating, enhancing, and warming. It is an antiseptic and is great for the respiratory system.
Cinnamon Bark – powerful purifier, powerful oxygenator, and enhances the action and the activity of other oils. It may have a stimulating and toning effect on the whole body and particularly the circulatory system. It is anti-bacteria, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, anti-viral, astringent, immune-stimulant, sexual stimulant, and warming.
Eucalyptus Radiata – may have a profound anti-viral effect upon the respiratory system. It also has strong anti-bacterial, anti-catarrhal, and antiseptic properties.
Rosemary Cineol – may help balance heart function, energize the solar plexus, and reduce mental fatigue. It may improve circulation and help stimulate the nerves. It is antiseptic and anti-infectious.
Affects the Immune System
Aromatic Influence: Diffuse this blend of oils periodically for 20 – 25 minutes at a time to help protect the body against the onset of flu, colds, and viruses.
Application: Massage bottom of feet, throat, stomach, and intestines. Dilute one drop of Thieves in 15 drops of V-6 Mixing Oil and massage the thymus to stimulate the Immune System and massage under the arms to stimulate the Lymphatic System. It is best applied to the bottom of the feet as it may be caustic to the skin.

Comments: Studies conducted by Weber State University (Ogden, UT) during 1997 showed the antibacterial effectiveness of this blend (Thieves) against airborne microorganisms. One study showed a 90% reduction in the number of gram positive Mircrococcus luteus organisms after diffusing Thieves for 12 minutes. After diffusing Thieves for a total of 20 minutes, there was a 99.3% reduction. Another study against the gram negative Pseudomonas aeruginosa showed a kill rate of 99.96% after just 12 minutes of diffusion.
Cinnamon Bark – Chemical Constituents: Aldehydes: trans-cinnamaldehyde (<50%), hydroxycinnamaldehyde, benzaldehyde, cuminal; Phenols (up to 30%); Eugenol (<30%), phenol, 2-vinyl-phenol; Alcohols; linalool, cinnamic alcohol, benzyl alcohol, a-terpineo, borneol; Sesquiterpenes: B-caryophyllene; Caronxylic Acids: cinnamic acid.
