Welcome to Douglas County Bees
Douglas County Bees is a registered LLC with a 501(C)3 charitable organization status committed to bettering beekeeping in Douglas County Oregon. This will be attained by educating, mentoring, and growing beekeeping throughout the county. We meet the first Wednesday @6:00pm of every month at Abby’s Annex (1661 NE Stephens) in Roseburg. Please join us as we talk beekeeping!
Benefits of being a paid ($24.00 annual dues) member in good standing:
- Inclusion in the bee removal/bee swarm reporting phone alert *
- Support from other knowledgeable bee keeping members
- Access to the club inventory and bee equipment (when available)
- Voting rights for future election of board members and club decisions *
- Receive a colony of bees from a scheduled rescue (cut-out) *
- Beekeeping classes and hands on workshops outside of general monthly meetings
- Volunteer opportunities throughout Douglas County
